            Answer This Question

A:  Thanks for reaching out. Each “Large Cameron Wall Panel” is 42-3/8” x 23-3/8” and covers 6.88 square feet. They are sold individually, so you can order the quantity needed for your project. We'd recommend measure the height and width of the space (you are wanting to cover) and then dividing by the square footage (6.88). The panels install, cut, and trim easily and hassle-free with general woodworking tools. Hope this helps!

                Answer This Question

A:  Thanks for reaching out. Sure, these can be used in that application. Please make sure there is a water-tight seal between and around the panels to prevent water damage behind the panels and to the mounting surface. For best results, prime the product thoroughly to achieve a smooth, consistent, paint-ready surface. The carved areas may require additional prime coats. Once priming is finished, paint the product with a good quality, vinyl safe 100% acrylic latex paint. If painting the product a dark color, colors that have an LVR rating of 54 or lower, use paints with heat reflective characteristics specifically formulated for use on vinyl or PVC products.

Q:Is it recommended to caulk the edges of each piece after installation or not? If so, what type of caulk is recommended?
                  by|Apr 26, 2020

                  Answer This Question

A:  Thanks for reaching out. It is not necessary to caulk the edges of each piece, unless you are using them in a situation where water can get behind them (backsplash, shower, ect). In that application, we'd recommend making sure the gaps are properly sealed to prevent water from entering/sitting behind the back of the panels. The gaps should be sealed with paintable (if you plan on painting it) and/or waterproof caulking or sealant. Answer This Question

A:  Construction adhesive like Liquid Nails has a slow setup time. That and a brad nailer. If you don't have a brad nailer, then you can use painters tape to hold each piece in place. Tape is tedious, but not too bad.
