In your case, mix in 4 cups of Garden Tone. If the pot has existing plants, sprinkle 1.5 teaspoons of Garden Tone into the soil around the edge of the pot for every 4 inches of pot diameter. Water thoroughly.

A:  Blossom end rot is mostly caused by watering. Regular watering is the solution. Also just cut away the rot part and you can enjoy the rest of the tomato.

A:  A specific tomato fertilizer will prevent blossom end rot. It will contain added calcium to prevent blossom end rot. I use Espoma tomato-tone. Garden-tone will not solve your problem. I use it at planting which is best. At this point you might need a liquid calcuim additive fed through the soil or sprayed on the leaves. Good luck. V
