The length of the screws is not given but looking at the picture which shows the screws along with the hinge I would be surprised if these screws are 1/2 an inch long. I am waiting for delivery of the 72 inch continuous hinge I ordered and if the picture is any indication of the length of the screws I will go buy some longer screws to install the hinge. I noticed one of the reviews on on one of these continuous hinges mentioned that some of the screws stripped out and worked loose with use. I'm hoping that by using a longer length wood screw that hopefully they will do a better job of staying put. A little dab of silicon or similar adhesive probably wouldn't hurt either.
