A:  High strength wood pulp! Kiln dried above an active volcano.

A:  This product can range from a mild strength to high strength cold rolled steel sheet material.

A:  Yes it is magnetic. It is carbon steel.

A:  Yes, this sheet metal is magnetic.

A:  Yes, but not economical for a wall. Consider a magnetic whiteboard or a steel door, or have purchasing contact local metals suppliers, machine shops & ductwork fabricators.

A:  You can use this steel sheet metal for auto body patches (it will need to be treated as it will rust ) though it is on the thicker side.

A:  I believe this sheet metal is too think. It's almost impossible to bend or make a proper cut without using a machine. Hand tools won't do.

A:  The metal will be fine for auto sheet metal except for the thickness. 16-gauge is almost 1/16" thick. Most auto sheet metal is not quite this thick. If you do not need a thinner piece, this should be fine.

A:  This is heavier than you want for body patches. They have other thinner gauge material that I have used to make body panels, patches, in the past. Look for thinner material but not their thinnest.

A:  Dimensions are correct. This is 6"x18".

A:  Not dimensioned like wood. Different material, industry. It is actually as it is described. Wood dimensions are of the wood in rough, as it was cut from trees, before it is milled, planed, smoothed for use. Saw mills pay for the tree, therefore the product is described and sold as cut green/in the rough.

A:  This sheet metal can be used to make a Captain America shield but you would need to seal it to prevent rust. Please be aware that this has sharp edges and should be handled with care.

A:  Yes it is with proper prep work

A:  Yes, you can paint sheet metal.

A:  Strange question.. Bending is warping the shape. If you place the sheet in a vice, clamp, or a straight guides, do slight bends until you get across the width then repeat, you will get nice bends, Do not hammer too much in one place, the hammer will distort, warp, sheet. Gradual bends, gradual, light hammering will do OK.

A:  It is possible for sheet metal to warp. Heating the sheet metal does make it more bendable.

A:  This sheet is very, very strong. If you plan on bending it, you will need the proper tool.

A:  No, this is not the correct product for that application.

A:  The 16 gauge sheet metal is a pretty solid, stout piece as compared to the thinner 22 gauge. However, it will bend if pressure is put on it.

A:  This sheet metal is Plain Steel, not Stainless Steel.

A:  Yes it is. Very, very durable.
