For that you would need a heavier duty machine meant specifically for sanding. If you are trying to sand a residential home, you would do well to rent a sanding unit if that is available to you in your area. Thanks again and have a great day!

Please be sure to contact the manufacture of your floor to prevent any damage when picking out a cleaning solution. But if you follow these rules you should be okay. "Clean stone surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap, or a dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use a clean soft cloth for best results. Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film and cause streaks." In addition to this the EP170 would be a great advantage and help.

A:  You should check the manufactors directions on cleaning and maintenance of your LVP flooring.

A:  With any flooring you should always look at the manufactures recommendations for proper care. That being said the EP170 is good for any hard floor in a residential capacity. It's a light weight unit and as long as it is used properly it works very well. We always recommend you use it on a small section of flooring to make sure you are getting the results you want, and if your floor is wood then always make sure you are using a polish your prefer or one that is recommended for your particular type of floor, although Eubank's floor polish is fine for hard wood flooring.

A:  Good afternoon! We appreciate the opportunity to answer this question. The EP170 is a light weight machine so its good for any surface you want to clean and polish in your home. That being said with the concrete floor question, most people who purchase this unit do not use it on concrete. BUT! If it has the polyurethane coating on the top the EP would be good for this type of floor. We always recommend that if you go with the EP to test it on one section of flooring before using it all over so you know you are getting the results you want. Thanks again for your question!

IF you are ever in doubt you can do a test area on the floor, but so long as you read the manual carefully and follow the instructions you will have no issue using this unit on your floor. A:  Hello and thank you for your question! The EP170 should be just fine for this type of tile. Try starting with the brush plates first and go from there. Be sure to let the unit do the work while you guide it, its not a heavy unit but it does get the job done. When using the brush plates you can use whatever cleaning solution might work best for the area, but be sure to wipe up any residual water before buffing or polishing is you so choose. A:  I'm not sure how well it would work on them but I was very disappointed in the performance of this machine. I tried using it a couple of times on different floors but it ended up being more trouble than I had time to deal with. I'm not happy with mine.
