Answer This Question
A: For this particular door type, No. But we do have some 3/4 Oval Mahogany and Smooth doors available in a 32/32 double door setup. (Actual unit size = 66" x 81.625). Would be a special order at a Home Depot store.

Answer This Question
A: The inactive slab has an astragal attached to the door, astragal has flush bolts which will lock into the threshold and head jamb. So inactive door can be open if needed to move furniture/etc

A: Only one side has a knob, but you can swing the other door open after you unfasten the pins in the top and bottom so they both open wide to move in big objects.

A: Yes, both doors will open but one is considered Active and the other is Inactive. Inactive door will have an astragal attached to the slab with flush bolts that lock the door in place. Can be opened if you need to move furniture/etc.

Q:We would like to keep our current door frame. It measured inside dimensions are 72.5" X 79.5". Does this Lakewood Patina double door fit our current frame? It would be much easier to just replace the two door panels only. Thanks!

Answer This Question
A: It is not recommended to just replace the door slabs only unless you are installing the same manufactuers product which was originally installed. Our actual door panel would measure 35-3/4" x 79", other factors are that our hinge locations are already morised in our door slab. These may not match up to your existing frame, other factors are the astragal between both doors. Better to replace the entire frame unless you go with wood door slabs which can be prepped to fit the frame setup you have.
