A:  It has the side panels that slide in the metal track that the window frame sets in. It comes with some hardware small brace and screws, I didn't use these, because im in mobile home. They include some 1/4 in foam board to cut to size to insulate over the accordion side panels. worked great

A:  Yes, it comes with the flexible side panels and foam strips for around the edges. But it was changed a bit from the older model I replaced with it. The older model had thick cut-to-fit stiff foam reinforcement panels to insert into grooves in the flexible panels to hold them extended for a snug fit. It still comes with the cut-to-fit panel inserts but they removed the inner grooves for them and made them from much thinner foam, so they don't really insure a snug fit of the flexible panels anymore.
