Q:does the oven turn off by itself if I set the timer
by|Jun 25, 2015

Answer This Question

A:  Hi Joanna, the minute timer included in range model FFGF3053LS does not have the capability to start or stop the cooking times. Now, the “bake time” feature is designed to set the amount of time needed for baking. The oven will turn on immediately and stop automatically after the set bake time ends. Please feel free to review further inforamtion on this and many other features via the Use and Care Manual (http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/03/031fdc69-55fa-40b8-a60c-1df30bdabe55.pdf). –Best Regards and Happy Cooking!

Q:A reviewer said the kitchen heated up a lot when the oven was on. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Answer This Question

A:  Yes there is some heat that comes off this range especially when using the oven. Every gas range I have ever seen does. If you have a good fan system above the range this is minimal.

A:  I have not experienced this at all while operating the oven. It seems to be well-insulated and does not throw off external heat while in operation.

Q:Does the stove top surface get too hot when the oven is on?

    Answer This Question

A:  No. I was surprised how cool it remained with the oven running. Only place it gets warm is at back stop where the control panel is because that's where the oven vents

A:  Emerald, thank you for your inquiry! In researching your range FFGF3053LS, we recommend to always use oven mitts when using the oven. When using the appliance, oven racks and cooktop will become very hot which can cause burns. We do hope this information is beneficial. A:  Standard 115 volt electric outlet. This is a gas range so electric hookup is for lights and control circuits only, not for any heating functions.
