Q:My 1975 GE wall oven is probably on its last year. Model JK190R1HT. I think it just needs the bake element replaced but have not had luck finding one. Will this one fit my current space?

Answer This Question
A: No, the 24" wide wall ovens are too small. Your original model JK190R1HT is a 27' wide model. We offer several models from which you can choose. The cutout dimensions on the new models are slightly different so we recommend measuring the actual opening you have available.

Answer This Question
A: Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us with your interest in a new GE Appliances wall oven. Over the years, the product and cutout dimensions for our wall ovens have changed. Based on our information, this oven is a 24" model and the cutout dimensions needed are likely smaller than what you have available. Your existing model is considered a 27" wall oven like our JKS5000SNSS. We encourage you to review the cutout dimensions needed for the new model and compare them to the actual dimensions you have available. Some modifications will need to be made to our existing opening. We hope this is helpful. Kind regards - Vikki@GEAppliances

Answer This Question
A: Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us. We are unable to locate the specifications for the model oven you provided. We recommend checking the model/serial tag again to confirm you have the correct model number. It is possible we are unable to locate the dimensions due to the age of the unit. That said, if your existing model number begins with the letters "JKP" this means your wall oven is a 27" unit and this 24" model is not compatible. We also recommend you measure the actual opening you have available in your cabinetry to ensure you are purchasing the closest comparable model. The 27" models we offer today in stainless include the JKS3000SNSS and the JKS5000SNSS. We hope this is helpful. Kind regards Vikki@GEAppliances
