Q:Why would these screws feature having an ACQ rating for use in pressure treated lumber when the details say they're interior use only? Featuring an outdoor wood rating on a screw that can't be used outdoors seems misleading, no?

Answer This Question
A: I have used these trim head screws in MDF and never needed to predrill nor countersink for the heads. There was no "bubble up" issue where the head penetrated the MDF to contend with either. Great holding strength too.
by|Feb 1, 2023
A: YES, absolutely. Will countersink into hardwood as well.
by|Jan 27, 2023
A: Yes, they are designed to countersink and do so easily.
by|Feb 16, 2023
A: They should. You can always use a countersink bit designed for that purpose.
