Please note that before ordering your GW shower enclosure it is essential your shower is tiled as your measurements will change once tiling and grout are in place. GW offers a unique modular system that is as close to a custom fit shower as possible without the high prices, this is why it is essential to only order once tiling is complete. If your enclosure is tiled and your minimum tile to tile width measurement is 57” then you would order the 57.25" model. All GW dual panel systems have an out of plumb allowance of 0.4” so this model has an absolute minimum width requirement of 57” with an allowance up to 57.4”. The rule when ordering a GW dual panel system is to not order anything above your minimum tile to tile width opening. If you order anything above your minimum width measurement the shower will not fit. The hinges do allow for the door to swing inwards and outwards, but with our Illume/WH model we do provide a sweep for between the stationary panel and door, which allows for the door to only swing towards you. The sweep for in between the door and stationary panel is an optional feature and is not necessary for installation. A:  Hello - Thank you for your inquiry. With an absolute minimum measurement of 57.6 you will want to order an enclosure to fit a 57 1/2" wide space. A 57" wide enclosure will technically fit, but you may end up with an odd gap between the door and fixed panel once installed. A:  This 57" model only suits an opening from 57" - 57.5". We sell this type of enclosure in 1/4" width increments so have a model to suit your opening. If you have measured your opening in 3 places, top of glass height 78", middle 39" and bottom of opening and your minimum measurement is 58.25" the model is GW-WH-58.25-MB. A:  Yes all GW shower doors / enclosures are fully reversible for left or right hand installation so the door can be installed on either wall.
