A: Uhhh. Well ... Yeah.
Not the best way of doing things but you could use some really strong tape.
Box has a couple of hooks enclosed. Better to use them.

A: If you mean by "base" the thing you screw a bulb into, it is the standard size that probably 9 of 10 screw-in bulbs in the world use.
As to the other end if the cord, it is a standard plug used in the US, Canada, and most other countries in North & South America.
There are other cords which can be "hard-wired" to electric lines, but I bought the ones with plugs.

Q:How do I get the cords to lay flatter? The swag is crumpled and the cords are a bit kinky, even though I hung them up. Thanks!

Answer This Question
A: In time, cords will lose the kinks.
Or you could run the cords back and forth along a smooth corner much as you could flatten a piece of crumpled paper.
Perhaps less appealing but highly effective would be to staple the cord onto the ceiling using insulated staples designed for power lines (not intended to be a free ad for Home Depot electrical department, but that's where I got mine). Fairly easy to disguise the staples with paint.

Q:How do you adjust the cord? This is driving me insane. I’ve loosened the bolt, but the fabric cord will not feed through

A: I had trouble too, got it figured out.
Hold the plastic knob facing the socket, the one attached to the cover and use some pliers to loosen the metal nut. Once that plastic knob on the outside of the cover can pull away from the cover, it's hard to see but there is a plastic backing nut on the knob thingie. Loosen that and separate the knob thingie, inside it are little tension tabs or whatever they are called. Cord should move now that the knob is separated from the little set nut.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. To adjust the length of the cord, you need to loosen the set screw located just below the canopy (Which connects to the ceiling). Once this set screw is loosened, you can adjust the cord to the desired length, then re-tighten the set screw. Best regards,

A: I have 3 of the 1-Light Vintage Edison Matte Black Mini Pendant and I use LED lights that I purchased from Home Depot also. What you need to keep in mind is the bulb's base, the threaded section of the bulb, is the correct size for the fixture socket. Choose your look - 1) SHAPE: clear, frosted, round, Edison vintage shape. 2) COLOR: Soft White, Bright White, Daylight. 3) BRIGHTNESS: Lumens (watts in ordinary bulbs). Home Depot has all the bulbs displayed with LED lights showing the colors and brightness, making it easy to decide which look you like. I hope you enjoy your new Vintage fixtures as much as I have, and you'll have all the assistance you want from the workers in "Home Depot Orange".

A: I use an adapter. Cost about a buck. Works fine.

A: These are plug-in lights. Each light will need an outlet. If you don't have as many outlets as you need, I suggest buying a 6 Outlet Surge Protector Strip.

You may install all three in a power strip or you may hardwire them together.

A: It is necessary to connect all three lights in parallel. In other words all the black wires must connect together and all the white wires must connect together. They can simply be wire nutted together.
