            A:  It's advertised as having bulbs that are fully dimmable. However, the bulbs in mine bought 2 years ago were halogen and got very hot inside the small metal hoods. For that reason and to save on electricity I put in dimmable LEDs, available at fairly low prices if you shop around. It was well worth the extra expense. It's a terrific ceiling light fixture. I use it to light up specific parts of a great room - a counter, reading chair, etc. I get lots of positive comments from people who see it. Very attractive and it throws a lot of light just where you need it, since each bulb is on a swivel.
