A:  Yes, GutterStuff will filter out the pine needles. If any needles don't get blown off by the wind, they can be simply brushed off. Much easier than cleaning handfuls of dirty needles out of the gutter and downspout.

A:  I have not noticed any mold or mildew, although the Gutterstuff eventually deteriorates and has to be replaced with new Gutterstuff. My handyman does this about twice a year.

A:  Hello-The EZ GutterStuff has germicide built in to the product, so no issues with mold or mildew growth should occur. If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to the manufacturer or Home Depot.

A:  Hello-The product itself is not biodegradable, but it is recyclable. The EZ has a 3 year warranty and you can sign up for the warranty on the manufacturers website. If you do see the product degrading the manufacturer will replace it. If you have any other questions, please reach out to the manufacturer.

A:  Hi IMJ-GutterStuff is suitable for all 4 seasons and the extreme weather that comes with those seasons. Our product can also be used with heating wire in gutters. We do suggest to make sure that your heating wires are functional and to avoid sparks, flames and very hot temperatures with using GutterStuff. A:  Yes , it is completely safe to use with a heating wire The melting point for GutterStuff is 250 degrees and the heat cables will only heat to about 60 degrees. I have done this on my house and the combination of the two products working together does an excellent job of eliminating icicles and keeping the water flowing to the downspouts.
