    A:  Use Alexa to turn off fan, light, etc. Completely bypass the control box on the wall. If Alexa doesn't turn it off, you have an issue with the main unit, not the control box

      Q:It clearly says this needs attic entry to install but I noticed another question you told someone they CAN install it in their home WITHOUT attic access. So is it possible or not? If so, what do I have to do in order to make room installation work?

      A:  Hello, If you are going to install it without attic access you would need to cut the hole large enough to work around and properly install it, which would require patching the ceiling after you are finished.

        A:  I just installed this unit and yes, require access to attic or as state before, cut hole big enough to gain access then patch hole.

          A:  It's supposed to come with a Switch box that controls the fan/lights and Alexa individually. I would return or contact the manufacture for the missing item.
