          Answer This Question

A:  You do not need to buy a hose adapter but you have to buy the 1-lb cylinders. I don’t use the cylinders,I just hook up the propane tank from my grill using the same hose on the grill.

A:  You will only need the propane tank. No hose adapter is needed.

A:  No hose adapter needed. Just buy the 1 pound gas cylinders. They hook up easy.

            by|Apr 7, 2020

A:  The unit does not come with a tank. This heater’s supply line only accepts the smaller camping size propane tanks. These size tanks will empty curiously quickly even under normal use. A separate adaptor is needed to allow use of the larger 5 gallon “BBQ” size propane tanks.

A:  It's ready for the small cylinder to screw on. Only problem I had is below 45 degrees the tank Freezes up. I had to convert mine over to a larger tank, (25lb) is the only way to eleminate the Freezing up. Good luck on making a conversion kit! I can't believe they are still selling these.Gas

A:  Detach and reattach the propane tank. Make sure you are holding down the gas button for 20-30seconds, allowing the system to flood with gas properly, before igniting. Let it burn for a few seconds before turning the dial check to make sure the propane tank is full - try another tank just in case.

A:  Have had similar problems myself. Poor product quality. If you are beyond point of being able to return, your stuck with it. I use a stick lighter on my mine to light. If you want to troubleshoot it, make sure the igniter is dry and is providing sufficient spark. Next make sure igniter is properly aligned with fuel source. Lastly, make sure you have sufficient fuel. Maybe try full bottle fuel if you haven’t already. Other than that, it’s a poorly designed igniter.
