A:  Neither. However, I feel the sink is deep enough not to need a splash. After a year and a half of use, this vanity has held up well and still looks brand new. I would highly recommend it.

A:  No, it isn't functional as the pipes are behind that part. Lovely piece. Has a lot of blue color to it. Not sure I'd market it as gray.
