A:  I don’t know of a reason that would not work, Downrod to blades will about a foot. You might consider a 60 inch rod.

Q:Can you sync several fans to one remote? We are installing these in our church and would like to be able to dim all the lighting at once is that possible with this model?

      Answer This Question

A:  You may connect multiple fans to a remote, if using the dimmer, multiple remotes are recommended. The light kit intensity may not always be at the same intensity when working off of 1 remote.

                    Answer This Question

A:  Due to the built in DC motor controller module this fan can only be operated with the hand held remote and will only work safely on an on/off wall switch.

                      Answer This Question

A:  Once power has been killed to the fan it resets and will need turned on with the remote once again. That being said, a good electrician may be able to bypass the remote and supply on/off power, but it would take alteration to the circuits thereby voiding warranty.

A:  Yes, The fan memory function will resume fan and light setting.

A:  The fan will remember the last setting it was on before it gets switched off. There is only a black and white wire hook up for the fan, so I dont think you can use 2 different switches to control the fan and light. The remote is pretty easy to use though and I still have the fan attached to a hard switch, so I just turn it on and the fan will spin at the last speed setting I used and the light will turn on if it was on when I used it last, and it will be at the same brightness, I left it at.
