Q:So do you just use normal paint in this? Or is there a special kind of paint you have to use?

A:  You can spray water and oil base paints, stains, polyurethanes, lacquers (not solvent base). As long as it cleans up with soapy water or mineral spirits you are good to go. If you have any further questions call us at 1-800-328-8251.

    A:  Use mineral spirits to clean. Break the tool down and clean the individual parts first. Then reassemble and fill cup with 1" of mineral spirits and spray that through to assure you've got every bit of material out of the tool.

      A:  We don't suggest this use. If improperly applied it can inject tanning solution into the skin.

        A:  To clean it correctly so it doesn’t give you problems on the next use is tedious. All sprayers are like this from what I hear from friends who have other brands.

          A:  Cleanup is simple. Break down the parts and rinse them under running water (for water based material s) then reassemble the tool, load it with water and spray that through. The sooner you clean, the easier it is. If cleaning oil based materials, use mineral spirits to clean, then rinse the tool with water also. For more help call us at 1-800-264-5442.

            Q:Can you use lacquer with this sprayer?

            A:  We do not suggest using real lacquer with our tools. Any water based or oil based material is fine as long as it is thin enough for spraying. No lacquer, lacquer thinner, shellac, denatured alcohol or acetone should be used with our tools. Call us for help locating tools for applying lacquer successfully. 1-800-264-5442.                   A:  Thank you for reaching out to us. HomeRight Super Finish Max is an excellent sprayer for kitchen cabinet. The Super Finish Max comes with three spray tips size 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 4.0mm. If you are using a primer/paint with the 1.5mm and 2.0mm, thinning will be required in order to get a smooth finish. Primer/Paint might or might not need to thin if you are using the 4.0mm. 1.5mm is an excellent spray tip for the clear coat.                     A:  I’ve used it to spray primer and cabinet paint. I can’t speak to a clear coat. Benjamin Moore Advanced paint is best for this. Do not thin
