A: Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. We encourage you to check the vent hose on your dryer and the vent cap on the outside of your home. An obstructed or partially clogged vent could cause the issue you've described as the excess hot air from the dry cycle is not venting to the outside. If this does not help, please call GE Appliances Service to schedule an appointment to have your dryer checked. You may call 1-800-432-2737 to do so. We are confident our highly skilled service technicians can help. All our best! Vikki@Hotpoint

A: I also have this dryer and disabled the buzzer as it was annoying me. I would recommend removing the back plate from the control panel and disconnecting the black cable to the buzzer. There are a bunch of videos on youtube on how to do this.

Q:Since there's a separate temperature control dial, does that mean the Cotton/Casual/Delicate cycles have no effect on the heat temperature?

Answer This Question
A: Hey there - Thanks for checking with us! You do have to choose the temperature for each setting. This includes cotton/casual/delicate cycles. If you'd like, you can view the full instructions for this on page 5 of the use and care manual here: https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/35/35c853c6-9055-4cca-a1ce-b90f41034257.pdf. A: Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear how unhappy you are with the end-of-cycle signal. On this model, the signal is fixed. It can't be turned off or turned down. We do not recommend attempting to disassemble or disconnect this feature as this would be modifying the dryer from the original design. Doing so could create a safety issue and possibly void your appliance warranty. Your feedback is very important to us and will be shared with our product design teams. All our best! Vikki@Hotpoint
