      A:  This might be compatible with a Hampton Bay fan if it uses a 3/4 inch diameter downrod. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee compatibility with non-Hunter brand fans. ~Kevin

          A:  We do not make connectors for this type of set up. We also can not recommend this as it will make the downrod assembly unstable and could lead to wobbling or damage to the fan. ~Kevin

              A:  Hi Poppy, we carry down rods from 12 inches up to 72 inches, so whatever you prefer. We recommend fan be 7 feet from the floor.
