Answer This Question
A: Jim, The screen will show the live torque readout as torque is applied and in Peak Torque mode will flash the highest applied torque value for 10 seconds before the screen returns to the pre-set amount. This allows you to verify the correct torque was applied to the workpiece each time.

A: I thought it was 20-100 but you can set it from 10-100 ft-lbs. It just might be certified for 20-100 ft-lbs.

A: It definitely goes down to 10 ft-lbs and the target Peak Torque setting goes above 200 ft-lbs. It is only 16" or so long--I doubt you can get enough leverage to go much above 100 ft-lbs unless you eat spinach and have arms like Popeye the Sailor. The menu will take you above 300 ft-lbs.

A: Ken, The wrench will operate in the 10-100 ft./lbs. range. As is standard with torque wrenches, the wrench is calibrated to be accurate +/-2% in the upper 80% of its range, which would be from 20-100 ft. lbs.

A: The torque settings go down to 10 ft-lbs and above 100 ft-lbs. This is only a 16" long torque wrench and I doubt ordinary people will be able to pull more than 100 ft-lbs on that. The menu goes much higher than that. The packaging states 10 to 100 ft-lbs.

A: Just noticed that the box says "20-100 FT/LBS," but the Instruction Sheet says "10-100 FT/LBS."
