A:  Yes, as long as the floor is level so that the doors can swing out without touching the floor.

A:  These are mounted on a steel bracket screwed to the wall. As long as the bracket is screwed into 2 studs, you are good. Mine are mounter one next to the other without a space in between.

A:  I keep them at least 15-8 inches; so you can open doors without banging. You could go 6 inches without a problem. As long as you are not opening both units simultaneously.

A:  It depends on the locations of the wood studs behind wall. They can be placed side by side or separately.

A:  Did you check with HOME DEPOT. They are the owners if Husky.

A:  Yes. They keys are generic. I got 2 cabinets and the keys that came with each work for either cabinet.

A:  Why would you ask someone other than the manufacturer?

A:  I don't know. Not sure how many different set of keys there are, if any. I don't think it would be worth the expense of having a locksmith change the keys so a common key can be used.

A:  I purchased 6 cabinets and they were all keyed the same. Did not have to request.

A:  Yes, all the cabinets have the same keys.
