A:  If it's missing a piece, Home Depot will gladly accept the return and replace it with the complete shelving unit. If you don't want to return it for a replacement, you might try substituting both brackets as I haven't seen this particular bracket for sale at HD but they do have other brackets that should do the job - look in the shelving/closet aisle.

A:  No, you cannot get the shelf brackets only.

A:  CBW - While it's possible, all of our testing, weight ratings, and warranty are based on the unit being properly secured to wall studs. We don't test or rate our storage items with concrete wall mounting as a method.

A:  Yes you can mount the shelving unit to a concrete wall with the right anchors and mounting screws. I would suggest Tapcon concrete screws.

A:  Yes yo can attach to a concrete wall using fasteners designed for concrete such as Tapcon screws.

A:  Yes it could be attached to a concrete wall with a proper mortar screws and drill

A:  ry - Unfortunately, we don't currently offer any sliding basket add-ons for HyLoft items. The only accessories we make that are compatible with the racks are the 00212 Add-On Hooks.

A:  you probably can, shelf just sits on top with a little hook to keep in place but has a little movement back and forth.

A:  The HyLoft Wall Storage unit does not have an option for wire baskets, pull-out or stationary. The manufacturer is Kanpe and Vogt and this product can be found on their website. A pull-out basket will change the load rating, so a modification is at the user's risk.

A:  They are sturdy enough to do so but it would depend upon the baskets and the sliding mechanism and how you attach it. As you can see, there are brackets holding these shelves so you would have to avoid the brackets. One of the upsides to these is that you can place these brackets wherever you choose to place them.

A:  Hi David - These shelves are intended to mount to slat wall, and not directly to walls. So the distance between studs does not matter. If you are looking to mount directly to walls, we would suggest the HyLoft model# 00651, which can be safely mounted on 24” center studs.

A:  150lbs as long as you install the slat wall panels properly to wall studs.

A:  I don't think these screws would work well for metal. My suggestion would be to take the screws into Home Depot and match the size with the appropriate metal screws. I've included a close up photo of the screw heads (tho' I'm not sure how much that will help you).

A:  I put mine into wood studs and made a smaller drilled hole to help guide the durable bolts. I would think if you can drill a smaller hole through the metal first then the bolt should go through fine. I am super happy with these shelves throughout my garage.

A:  These shelves are great but I don't think you can use the included hardware (lag bolts) to mount them on metal studs. You should contact the manufacturer for their recommendation as to how they can/should be mounted on metal studs; I found the manufacturer to be extremely helpful when I contacted them.

A:  Toggle bolts will be the best for this type of application. You will want to use the largest you can that will fit through the opening. Know that your weight limit will be determined by the toggle bolts you use if their combined holding power is less than the 200lbs these shelves can hold.

A:  No. You would have to buy self tapping screws made for metal.
