Q:Is it possible to order the top strip as mirror instead of chrome?
by|Jun 30, 2023

Answer This Question
A: KJToney, Yes but it is very awkward to ship and most likely will not arrive in one piece, since shippers tend to be a little rough, especially with glass/mirrors, no matter how many warnings and handle-with-care/fragile placards we apply. A better option is to find a local glass/mirror supplier and have a small peice cut locally and you can apply it with some double-stick tape once you have it home. Great question. Thank you.

Q:How wide is the bottom track
by|Jun 19, 2023

Answer This Question
A: DKSR, The bottom of our bifold unit is really a saddle and not a track. You can use it or not. It is 1-7/8" wide and 5/8" tall. We have a great video at www.CustomDoorandMIrror.com that shows the different applications for different floor types with a saddle or no saddle installation. Thank you.

Q:My current door is in a metal track that is cut into the floor to make it level with the floor. Will this door be the same way?
by|Jun 19, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: DKSR, No. The door pivots from the top and bottom of each side so the door floats freely in the middle and isn't in a bottom track. Our floor bracket and/or jamb bracket are designed to bear the weight of the doors so that no bottom track or guide is needed. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: Measure the width and Height at several points to determine which door size is required. Sizes are in the drop down box, there is a selection for the 60 x 80 opening size and it should work.
