Q:Hi, Instead of buying 1 48" x 80" can you buy 2 24" x 80" and just combine the 2? Also, my closet height is 82" will an 80" height work?

Answer This Question
A: You could probably get by with the two door by combining, but the advantage of the larger set is the upper and lower mounting hardware and threshold. I'd recommend the larger set to avoid having to patch the mounting tracks as this is visually more pleasing. The closet hight will work ok.

A: SK, The ideal clearance is 1/4" minimum between the edge of the door and the edge of the wall. The finished opening needs to be as close to 30" as you can get it. Thank you.

Q:Can it fit into a 29 7/8 X 80 opening? Thank you

Answer This Question
A: Dear Willitfit, The answer is a defenite maybe! If your opening is exaclty perfectly square there is a chance it should be fine and the panels will have enough clearance on the edges to operate. If there is anything out of square and or less than the 29-7/8" then it most likely wont fit and we suggest a custom sized unit. Erring on the side of caution I would say you're taking a chance and could end up with a broken mirror if it hits the wall as its operating. Please reach out to us at Sales@Paniflex.com if you are interested in seeing if we can get you custom size. Thank you. Carlos

A: Kid, Yes but if you order the 72" you will get a continuous track whereas if you do 2-36's there will be a seam where they butt together at the top. Thank you.

Q:can these be installed over previous plantain shutter bi-fold doors. I would like to not have to re-install all the hardware and be able to simply insert these closet doors using my existing hardware... can someone tell me if this would work? thx

Answer This Question
A: Matt, Most likely not. Most of the manufacturers use a different hardware system and are usually not compatible. New hardware is not such a bad thing since everything is nice and smooth and new and removing it also helps to make sure you are getting the true finished opeing measurements for good fit. Thank you.
