Q:Is it possible to use a different door pull and to mount the pull in a different location that pictured (e.g. on the right or left as needed)?

A: Dear MissDIY, Not really. The reason why we use the wraparound pull (it mounts to the back of the panel) is because the face of the door is all mirror and it's not an option to drill through it without a professional or the proper tools. So standard pull-type hardware doesn't really work with this door. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Q:Does bifold door model #pmp3444068c. Have a bottom track?

A: No. Just at the top.

A: Runner, It uses an optional saddle but you don't need to use it. The door mounts the to floor however, and pivots from the edge of the opening but runs free across the bottom without any track. There is no bottom track, only top. Thank you.

Q:My opening is 75" wide and 95.5" high. I am assuming this is the best size (72" x96") for my opening? Is 95.5" too close? Please let me know a number to reach someone for specific questions. Thanks!

A: Top only. Add your own to match rest of room, like windows and doors.

A: Francis, Many customers choose to put a trim moulding on the vertical edges where there is sometimes a gap. We don't supply this moulding but the most common practice for this situation is to purchase any smaller profile wood moulding style from your local Home Depot and apply it to the jamb to cover the gap and then paint it to match the jamb color. A 1/2" quarter-round or 1/2" square profile are the most popular styles for this application. Thank you.

Q:Opening is 47.50 x 80. Would I be able to install these?

A: Milw, You would be better off going with the unit that is designed to fit into a 47" opening. Check out Model # PMP34231168C
Internet #206723870 or here is the link directly cut and paste the below line into your browser--->https://www.homedepot.com/p/Impact-Plus-47-in-x-80-in-Polished-Edge-Mirror-Solid-Core-MDF-Full-Lite-Interior-Closet-Wood-Bi-Fold-Door-with-Chrome-Trim-PMP34231168C/206723870
It is better to have a unit that is slightly smaller rather than the opening. The 48" unit would most likely not fit properly in the opening and could bind during normal operation. The 47" unit will fit and you could always use a trim moulding on the vertical edges if there was too much extra space. Thank you.

A: wcatx, Unfortunately no. The units are adjustable to about a 1/2" either way but not a full inch. The width is OK but the height wont work. You could give us a call on Monday a 631-414-7725 or email to sales@paniflex.com and we would be happy to quote you on a custom-sized unit. Thank you.

Q:Does this come with door pulls/handles?
by|Aug 7, 2018

Answer This Question
A: Lauren. Yes this door comes with handles/pulls. Since this is a frame-less door, the "pulls" are small mirrored appliques that you will mount to the face of the door at a position that is most convenient to you once you install the door. Thank you.

Q:Our openings are 45 7/8 x 80 1/2. Are these the ones to get or do I need to order custom due to the slightly narrower openings? (I could open the frame a little if necessary but was trying to avoid that).
Thanks for any help on this!

A: Rae, Our doors are made based on the openings we list. So the 47" will not fit in your 45 7/8" opening. Best option without changing the opening is to Special Order a custom unit if you call us at 631-414-7725 we can get you a quote. If you can modify your opening the least cost option is get the width to either 42" or 48" and 80" on the height and then those are stock sizes that can be ordered here on line. Thank you.

Q:Is the mirror a true image or distorted?

Answer This Question
A: Each mirror has an excellent finish and provides a very clear reflection. Images that appear across two mirrors are distorted. The distortion is cause by the space between and plain of each mirror.
The mirrors makes the room appear bigger and brighter and they are very functional for dress.

A: True image. I see no distortion
by|May 5, 2023
A: J9, Our solid-backing makes our reflection the "truest" image on the mirror door market. Since the mirror is mounted to 3/4 MDF, it stays much straighter than our competitors cheaper and non-solid backed alternatives. The cheaper alternatives tend to distort the image and create a 'funhouse" effect since there is nothing keeping the mirror from sagging or bowing. I hope this helps and thanks to the customer below who verified with a community answer to your question too. Thank you.
