A:  Hi Corn. Thank you for the question. I do know you can use polyurethane oil or water based on these panels. You can use this over the layer of Interbuild Hardwax oil. You must make sure that you seal it on every inch of this panel top, bottom and all 4 edges and into any cut you make. A:  Hi Motts. This is a great question. Because this is a 100% hardwood Acacia panel, you must seal this from the extreme weather. and moisture. You must make sure that you seal all 6 sides/edges as well into any cut you make on this panel. You can use our Interbuild Hardwax oil, polyurethane, mineral oil and any other sealant you prefer. The color is in the hardwax oil so you will be able to match the color by add the Interbuild Golden Teak hardwax oil to it.
