Q:Is this suit waterproof or water resistant? Will it keep the rain out?

A:  Hello - This suit is waterproof. It is made with polyester with a polyurethane coating to keep the water out. The seems are taped also, to make sure those don't leak.

    A:  This 100% Polyester/PU Rain Suit uses chest and waist measurements to determine sizing. Size large is designed for a 42"-44" chest and a 36"-38" waist. Size extra large is designed for a 46"-48" chest and a 40"-42" waist. Size 2XL is designed for a 50"-52" chest and a 44"-46" waist. Size 3XL is designed for a 54"-56" chest and a 50"-52" waist. We would also suggest going up one size if you plan on wearing bulky clothes under the suit. I hope this answered your question, Thank you!

      A:  This is a lightweight rain suit. It will be reasonably durable because it is made with a fabric backing. But for heavier duty applications with a high risk of snags and tears, you might want to look at a rain suit made with heavier material. You could look at the High-Visibility ANSI Class III Rain Suit (JD44530), or the Premium Black Stretch Rain Jacket, Pants and Bibs (JD44540J, JD44540P and JD44540B), which are all available on the Home Depot website.

        A:  Hi Northwest. This rainsuit is not made with PVC. The fabric is 100% polyester with a polyurethane coating to make it waterproof. Thank you.
