It's designed to seal and block persistent odors and can be used for your interior brick-and-mortar wall. The primer will leave a white cast on the surface. A:  Hi Edward, thank you for your question. Our Kilz Klear Primer can be applied over dried wallpaper adhesive. For the best results, we recommend removing as much of the adhesive as possible. After priming, you can apply a skim coat over that. Have a great day! -Lina
