A:  Hello MEBK, this is Lisa with Kohler Co. I am glad to answer your question. The required drain for this tub is K-7272 or K-7271. The stopper has adjustability. You will want to ensure there are 3-4 exposed threads sticking out on the bottom of the clicker cartridge. A:  Meant for tile if finishes about 1/8-1/4” behind the lip if you lath and float the shower walls

A:  I installed this tub in my own place with tile shower walls, and wainscoting over drywall for the room walls. The room walls install over the lip with no special technique. The tub lip is about 1/2" thick. To install tile over the lip, you'll need to shim out the backerboard to be even with the lip thickness. Super easy: install the tub directly against the studs, then install 1/2" backerboard above the lip, remembering your waterproofing membrane goes under the backboard and over the lip. Install the tile as normal. No need to use a liner kit with this tub if you know how to shim different thicknesses to match each other.
