A: This measurement is the entire planter. From the bottom of the legs to the top of the planter. This is a great, sturdy planter. I have just harvested a ton of green onions from it, and now I have spinach planted in it. This is my third year using it, and I love the height. It is so much easier on your back. I have also planted potatoes in it. I highly recommend this planter.

A: I do not use plugs and never have - I didn’t find them useful and well made. I water daily and let excess of water out. But I love planter itself and planing to by 2 more for this season.

A: Hi Jada, sorry it took so long for me to answer your question. If memory serves me correctly, I used approximately 3 of the five-gallon bags of soil. I have had this planter for about 2 years now, and I absolutely love it. I would really love to have another on. Actually, I have potatoes planted in mine right now. I have planted onions, radishes, carrots and celery in this nice planter. I highly recommend this planter. It has held up quite well and is worth every penny.
