A:  Many assemblies require ventilation below the roof deck. While insulation materials can often be used in conjunction and contact with differing insulations, it is paramount to check with a local code official or inspector to ensure that everything is meeting your local requirements.

A:  Each bag contains 48.96 sq. ft.

A:  If you are installing drywall over the studs, this will not work. The insulation will push out the drywall. You may want to install a foam board.

A:  You may install in the crawl space. Make sure you do not have a double vapor barrier, or you could create condensation in this area. If you have plastic already on the floor, you will want to install an unfaced insulation under the floor. If you do not have plastic on the floor, install the kraft towards the warm side of the floor and use wire supports to keep the insulation in the floor.

A:  You may want to spray blowing wool in the attic. Your local Home Depot has Knauf EcoFill Blown-in Insulation and a blow wool machine in tool rental. If you purchase 10 bags of Blown In insulation, you will receive the blow wool machine rental free for the day. Please check with your tool rental department.

A:  R15 15" rolls comes 27 rolls to a pallet.

A:  You may install unfaced insulation over exiting insulation. Our recommendation would be to run it periductular to the existing insulation.
