    A:  R38 12" 16X48 is for standard attic application that are 16" on center. The R38 10.25 15X48 is produced for cathedral ceiling applications. In a cathedral ceiling, you need to have a 1" air gap between the insulation and the roof deck, so you do not experience roof rot.

            A:  The kraft facing should always face the heated side of the home, so the interior side.

                A:  Kraft paper is a vapor retarder and you should not install two vapor retarders, as this could result in condensation.
