A:  This model is not compatible with a mortise lock.

A:  If the Wi-Fi goes out, you will still be able to unlock the deadbolt with your fingerprints as long as the lock still has battery power. Please keep your physical key as a backup in case the batteries no longer work.

A:  Yes, the keypad can face the exterior and withstand rain, sun, and snow. The full lock is not weatherproof and the interior part of the lock must be in an enclosed space.

A:  Halo locks are compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Brilliant but is not compatible with SmithThompson alarm system.

A:  The Halo Wi-Fi lock is not Z-Wave compatible and cannot be paired with ADT. The Halo works with the Kwikset App.

A:  The Aura lock is a Bluetooth lock that works with the Kwikset app within 100 feet depending on your environment. The Aura will not connect to Wi-Fi for remote access. A:  To program the Aura lock with Access Codes, please downloaded the Kwikset app and created an app account. Next, follow the instructions within the app to add a home and pair the lock to your phone. Lastly, to add a code, go to the app's dashboard and select the "people" icon at the bottom center and follow the steps to add the Access Codes.
