          A:  The oven is designed to operate on a Standard 120V/60Hz household outlet. Be sure the circuit is at least 15A or 20A and the microwave oven is the only appliance on the circuit. ^CP

              A:  LG Over-the-Range microwaves have both options, you can install an exhaust vent to the outside if you like, otherwise it uses a charcoal filter for recirculating the air. ^CP

                Q:I've recently had this microwave "professionally" installed with ventilation out of the top for external venting. I have a couple of questions to verify it was properly installed by installer. I'm also noticing a constant flow of outside (cold) air coming through the unit and out the upper door vents when not in use. 1) With the blower set to vent out of the top, it appears the suction is happening at the top vent above the door instead of from the bottom side where the grease filters are. Is this correct? Ideally, I'd like the main suction on the underside... 2) Installer didn't put on a damper, is this easily installed with the adapter already mounted or do need to pull the microwave down. (Unit is mounted onto a cabinet like most) I would imagine this would be a solid step in reducing the draft that's coming out of top vent. Thanks in advance for your assistance/feedback.

                A:  contact your installer they did not put the flap in the top to stop outside air coming in.

                  A:  The suction should come through the grease filters, NOT the vent above the door. That vent above the door is from where it would exhaust if the blower were set to room-vent. The microwave will have to be pulled down to correctly adjust the blower fan, so the damper can be installed at that time. ^CP
