Answer This Question
A: 22 boxes (10 per box) should be adequate for 200 feet. Each edger is 12" total length, but they overlap 1" (which helps keep the edgers together and minimizes the gap between each.

Q:Can they be cut to allow an opening for water to drain out of a flower bed?

Answer This Question
A: yes probably with a tile saw to get through concrete. Water will drain under and between the blocks provided they are not glued together. I use them to retain mulch beds.

A: I’m sure they can be cut with the right saw , the rocks I believe are made from a cement mold
by|Feb 11, 2022
A: Yes they can be cut using a blade meant for cutting concrete. However, I've never seen water not able to drain out of a flower bed. Water normally soaks into the flower bed soil or through the joint between each edger. I hope this helps
by|Feb 11, 2022
A: Just leave a gap between the pieces for drainage.

A: I guess i don’t understand the question. Why wouldn’t the water from your flower bed drain down into the soil? These are concrete and they are made to fit into each other. I wouldn’t cut them. I suppose you could space them apart enough to allow a crack in between to let water go through

Q:Our lawn service used a snow plow (or some other device) along our walkway. As you can see it seems to have damaged the edging. Any recommendations for touching up the damage, or should I just replace? Thanks!

A: Not sure what kind of damage was caused but these are reasonably priced so I would just replace.

A: Not sure there is a way to fix the damage. You could try turning the damaged stones around to make damage less obvious. I would put up stakes so they dont do this again. You could try painting them so the base material does not show as another choice.

A: We are really sorry to see this. Matching the color is difficult. You could try a concrete stain, but it won't match. I'm sorry to say that I think your best option is replacing them.

by|Jul 22, 2022
A: Each edger overlaps the adjoining edger by 1.5 inches on average. So for example, 24 feet = 288 inches. Divide this by 10.5 = 28 edgers. Hope that helps

A: 8 boxes if this is a square 24 feet on two sides and 14 feet on two sides so 76’ total length of edging. 8 boxes equals 80 feet. 10’ per box. These are nice heavy blocks of stone.

A: You have to order these early in the morning. They are in stock but, since Home Depot doesn't carry them in store, they ship directly from the manufacturer. I'd say order them at like 5:00-6:00am.

A: Yes, they are made of concrete and if you want to cut one, use a chisel and hammer on one side of the stone. Might take a couple of whacks but it'll break off clean.
by|Jun 10, 2021
A: Never tried to cut one. But if you did, they then wouldn't fit with the next one, unless you were fitting it against a flat surface.
by|May 24, 2021
A: You can cut them easiest with a wet saw (like a tile saw). Or you can cut them with a dry saw, it is just harder to do.
