A: 4.5 inches including the grills.
A: I measure the depth at 4.24 inches.
A: 4.25" without the feet, 6.50" with the feet.
A: our window sills are under 4" wide so I slide the legs off and the weight of the window holid it in place
A: The depth is 4.5 inches.
A: The fan alone is 4 1/4", with the detachable feet it is 6 3/4". If you can close the window enough to stabilize the fan, it should work, otherwise, it does not stand up well without the feet attached.
A: It is about 4 inch's deep.
A: About 4". Be sure it doesn't fall while running, or on the floor tipping over. A blade will snap off. Otherwise a great deal for flushing your house at night. Will pay for itself in a month. See my review.
A: This type fan is not designed to be placed in a window or on the sill. If you want a fan to place within the window frame you need to purchase a fan which is specifically designed for that purpose.
A: I would call the manufacture and give the model number and the part number of the feet. With that said a new one is 19.00 which might make more sense

A: A lot of it depends on the humidly and how charged the pack is. Have you thought of doing a plug in the wall?
A: If your Yeti 100 power pack can produce 120 V AC at 60Hz and 180 watts of power it can run this fan as long at the battery life holds. However, I think the power pack is rated at 100 watts only so if that is the case then zero time.
A: looks like this fan consumes about about 0.180 kwh
A: I found some direct measurement of this fan. It uses .054 kW in slow, .071 kW in medium and .092 kW in fast.
A: I checked electrical currents for this fan. When it's low speed .49A .56A(medium speed), .65A (high speed). Power usage would be .49A x 119V= 58W .56x119=67W .65x119=77W. So low speed it's using 0.058kwh/h, .067kwh/h, .077kwh/h. This fan seems to be reasonably energy efficient.
A: As someone who measures a lot of items, The Watts are pretty low though I haven't measured this one recently. Probably 75-100. It's a great deal if you are using it as a window fan to push in cool air. Don't let it fall while running; a blade will snap off. Design flaw.
A: Yes . However one must take the plastic guards off. I wiped off the blades on my fan(s) and replaced the plastic grills . The are mounted with phillipshead screws. But BE SURE TO remount the grills !!!!
A: I have been cleaning my fans for about 15 years. My last cleaning of one of my fans I removed front & rear cover guards, sprayed with Fabuloso, brushed clean and washed with water hose.. Lay fan on its back out in the sun and let it dry for about 3 hours. I then put fan in front of another fan and blow dry for another hour. DO NOT SPRAY WATER ON THE SWITCH.
A: Hi, yes the grills can be removed so it can be cleaned.
A: You can remove screws with phillips screw driver to remove grill. Then you can clean it easily.
A: When it gets bad, I hose it off and let it dry in the sun.
A: Yes. There are four screws on each side that can be removed to remove the grates.
A: This fan is very easy to clean. All you need is a smaller screwdriver to take the front and back of the fan off to clean it.
A: Yes. You can unscrew the front wipe it down with a damp cloth or mild soap solution (I'm assuming dawn or any cheap dishwashing liquid). Please don't use any thinners or harsh cleaners. This is plastic. I only unscrew the front screen.
A: Well, the description says 2,500 cfm. So, you multiply that by 5 to get, uh..., 7,500 cubic feet.
A: How much air this fan or any other moves in 5 minutes depends on a number of factors. But to simplify it, first and foremost you have to start with the correct CFM rating for this or any other fan HD has listed. Which the claim of 2500 CFM on high for this fan is false. Second you need to specify, which of the 3 speeds your running it at for what duration during the 5 minutes. On high this fan according to Lasko is rated for 1710 CFM. If left free flowing with no restrictions you would simply multiply the CFM rating of 1710 cubic feet per minute (CFM) x 5 which would equal in this case 8550 cubic feet. The equation being CFM x 5 = Total CFM
A: 2000CFM x 5 minutes = 15000 CFM
A: This moves about 2500 CFM
A: 12,500 ft^3
A: As can be found on The Home Depot web site, this fan can move up to 2500 CFM. SO basic math is 2500CFM times 5 minutes equals 12500CF5M
A: This fan will use 1.2 amps at maximum.
A: I don't know about amps, but it has a standard two prong, 110 plug.
A: 2 amps at 120 VAC 60Hz should be fine for this 180 watt fan
A: At low speed 0.49 Amp, medium speed .56A , high .65A. @119V AC. I measured with am meter.
A: .5 amps in slow .6 amps in medium .8 amps in fast
A: It's 110 volts a/c Bry. Normal USA house current.
A: The fan uses 110 volts which is standard house current.
A: This is a standard 110 - 120 volt fan. its maximum power draw is 1.2 amps or 120 watts, so it will work off a 12 to 110 volt power inverter.
A: 120v. 60 Hz.
A: The fan works on regular house voltage 120 volts AC.
A: Break apart the two parts and slide it on to the bottom of the fan (there are 2 slots) until they click into place.
A: Slide it in. You'll see a slight opening on the plastic foot piece, that is the part you slide in the wide opening. Hopes that help.
A: slide into groove push hard wella
A: Take them apart and push onto bottom of fan in the slots.
A: The feet slide into place, you have to push on them a bit to get them to seat into the fan base.
A: Buy a new one, or in the future purchase the 2 year replacement plan. I replace mine every year.
A: I have never cleaned it, so my best guess is to try and put it together more correctly.
A: It might be time to go to The Home Depot and get a replacement fan.
A: You have plenty of options to troubleshoot the problem. 1. http://www.laskoproducts.com/faqs/ 2. YouTube (type in Lasko fan or fan stop working) 3. ifixit.com 4. fixya.com Be specific with the problem and you'll find an answer. Hope this helps.
A: Plugged in worked stunk quit working
