A:  These do come with a metal plate for easy snap-on mounting. Just remove your existing switch/outlet covers and the switches/outlets themselves; screw in the Legrand Adorne mounting plate that comes with the new wall plate, wire your new Adorne switches/outlets and you should be good to go. I have them all throughout my home and they look amazing!

A:  Yes, all adorne wall plates include the metal sub-frame.

A:  No, it does not come with the metal subframe.

A:  The model ending in 6 is gloss white on the top part but the bottom part which rests against the wall is black. The model ending in 10 is totally white - gloss white on white which matches all the other ones that were already installed in my home.

A:  All of the adorne wallplates are designed to be mounted horizontally, with the Legrand logo across the bottom. They can be mounted vertically but the logo would be out of place.

If you are looking to replace the existing double toggle switches in a single gang box, you could use this wallplate with 2, ASPD1531M4(adorne 1 module paddle switches in magnesium..also available in white).
