A:  I have used them with LED bulbs, but sometimes the bulbs do not instantly come on when the switch is turned on, but rather they "warm up" to full brightness.

A:  It mechanically works essentially the same as all other Decora Smart switches.

A:  No as you have what is referred to as a 4 way switch. For that configuration you'll need two 3-way switches and one 4-way switch. If you've never wired one of those up it may be to your advantage to get someone in who has done that before.

A:  For 3 switches, the one in the middle of the circuit needs to be a 4-way.

A:  The standard setup is to use two of those 3-way switches and a 4-way switch ex. model # 5604

A:  Hi If there is 3 actually switch locations that would require (2) 3WAY switches like the one you are asking about and (1) 4WAY Switch : Please note to install the switch exactly the way it was before ,take a picture, or mark it with some tape it will save you in the long run . 

A:  You will need 2 of these. And a 4way. If you have 3 switches for 1 light. You need two 3ways and one 4way.

A:  You need 4 way switch for that. 3 Way is not going to work.

A:  Refers to the commercial specification grade of the device in regard to the architectural Decora style and that the operation of the switch is quite (does not make a clicking noise when switch on/off). In addition to being self-grounding device yoke with both side and back wiring termination for the wiring to the device.

A:  255157 rocker switches can only be used with copper wiring. You want to look for a switch with a CO/ALR rating.

A:  No. You can pigtail it with copper using an appropriate AL/CU connector such as an Alumiconn, to connect directly to Al wire, you need a device marked “CO/ALR”.
