A:  Totally understand your problem! I wanted to do the same thing. This particular hinge is 1.5 from top to bottom BUT from corner to turn point is 1 inch! What I did was to remove one hinge and take it to the store and match it to the ones they had in stock to see how they listed them. They very hard to match up on-line!
