A:  Yes it comes with a screw but our drawer faces were thicker so the screw did not tighten down so we had to buy different longer screw.   They are 1 1/8” screws.

A:  Across the center of the base (through the screw hole) it is 13/16ths of an inch (one side to the other measured across the screw hole). Corner to corner it is 3/4" which is 1/16" smaller than across the center since the shape is convex rather than square. Hope that helps.
