A:  Yes, we used them on 3/4" doors, work fine.

A:  Yes.  The door flange on the hinge secures to the back of the door, and the door closes up against the cabinet facing (overlapping the opening slightly), so the thickness of the door is largely irrelevant. The doors I made that I used the hinges on were 12/16 (¾) and they could easily have been as much as ¼ inch thicker and worked fine.

A:  Hello BobHoff I don't think you've done anything wrong. I was able to install the same hinges as replacements to old hinges. You may try un-tightening the hinges to confirm closure, and if this works, you may want to ensure that the hinges are correctly aligned before tightening the hinges. A:  I did exactly the same as you, ie. buying hinges that look the same as you did to replace failing ones on some cabinets. My experience was exactly the save. The new hinges did not allow the cabinet doors to close fully. In the end I just gave up and the cabinets still have the old hinges on them. Will not buy them again
