Q:What types of vacuum can be used to maintain the warranty? The manual says Carpet and Rug Institute certified but those are all specialty vacuums and no typical store brand vacuums are mentioned.

A:  I believe almost any carpet can be bound. There is a small business in Vancouver, WA, that does it. Forgot the details and it’s been a few years, but there must be a few more around as well. If you are wondering if HD does it, I have never asked them.

        A:  Most carpet seems to be Mohawk, but if your sample does not tell you, a Home Depot employee probably could.
