A:  There is a typo on HD website. Spec sheet is correct. OPTICS — Thermalplastic lamp heads with PAR36 style lamps. Delivering a total of 300 lumens with two-lamp heads.

          A:  I have no idea. It is in a constant charge mode until the power goes out, only then uses the battery. The last set, although not the same unit, lasted 6 or so years. I think they make LED versions now.
