A:  It’s pretty big so don’t think will work on counter

A:  I currently have a Magic Chef on a built-in counter. Totally fine. Just died out this week so I want the same make and model to fit in the same space. Yes, it's heavy, but it gives you great eye level view of all your bottles.

A:  Not sure...that may be a question for the manufacturer. But it is quite large and heavy (see specs), so in my opinion, it would look awkward in a regular kitchen.

A:  Don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work just fine.

A:  I have placed them on top of another one. No issues.

A:  50 bottles of wine probably weighs ~ 130 pounds. Add the weight of the cooler for a total and see if your counter can easily hold it. However, it works great on the floor.

A:  The handle cannot be removed.

A:  Although I have not tried to do so, you can remove the handle and the hinge to reverse the opening side. That is not hard to do and the instructions are clear on this. Cosmetically I think it would be fine without the handle but you will need strong fingers to open it without one.

A:  Not easily, although on my unit it is reversible.

A:  The 44 bottle cooler is a dual zone cooler. Two different temperatures can be set in the different zones.

A:  no but the first one delivered had the handle knocked off.

A:  The handle already comes installed on the door.

A:  To clean that fridge it take time. you have to turn off the fridge. remove everything that you have in it. put a big towel in the bottom , and leave the door open. it will take 4-6 hours. Ice will melt,and the towel will collect all the water.

A:  Unfortunately, no. The shelves are slim and you have to tilt a little to get the slim bottles out, so I know the fat bottle wont fit. It has to be the slim bottles in order to fit. Unless you remove the bottom removable tray you use for beer. That is an option. Or, remove one of the middle shelves to store the fat bottle.

A:  No, this unit will only fit standard 750ml bottles.

A:  This unit is designed to only hold wine bottles. We have a wine and beverage color. Model HMWC44DZ.

A:  Absolutely! I have more beer than wine now. There is a removable shelf at the bottom specifically for beer. I even put beer where wine is supposed to go.

A:  I would not use the unit if outside on a lanai or patio. However if you contact Magic Chef they will be able to answer to ensure warranty is not voided. I also think if it is part of a built-in , outdoor kitchen that is enclosed, covered by roof, electrical is protected and not in the sun it may be ok. That’s is just my opinion.
