Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question. Makita recommends that after charging is complete, you should remove the battery cartridge from charger and unplug the charger. Call the Makita Call Center during business hours at (800)4-MAKITA, they’re based in Buford, GA and are ready to help.

A:  It charges two 5Ah bats simultaneously in 45min. Just pull them off. Li-ion shouldn't be stored long-term at 100% anyway. But I guess someone could. The makita brand makes a fairly smart charger.
