        Q:Is there a pre-drilled hole for the knob? I am wanting to put a long handle on the door and do not want it in the same position. This likely won't work for me if there is already a hole drilled for one knob.

          Q:My opening will only allow for a 78" door. Can I cut 1/2" from the top and bottom of the 79" door panel and not cut into the hollow portion of the door?

          A:  Hello Michael, we do not advise cutting bi-fold doors as they are not built for trimming and it will also void the warranty.

            A:  Hello Rabadan1, this bi-fold door is hollow core so it will muffle some sound opposing to nothing being there but it will not be sound proof.

              Q:Can this be installed on the outside of the opening. Maybe a track above the opening on the outside?? Our washer and dryer extend to be level with the outside of the opening so we can't put it inside. If not is there another product where we could do this?

              A:  Hello lynH, This door cannot be installed against a wall, it can only be installed under a finished frame header.

                A:  Hello Georgiagirl, the bi-fold doors are under-cut to fit so the actual size would be 23-1/2" x 79".

                  A:  each panel is 23.5" x78.5 They are slightly smaller. Each panel measures 23.5" x 78.5". I measured both panels which would mean 47" x 78.5".
