Also, this tile is marginally skid resistant, so it will be suitable for this setting. The glazed finish will prevent water from absorbing into the tile. The water will sit on the glazed surface until it is cleaned up or it evaporates. We recommend cleaning the water up to prevent staining to the surface, which could result after contaminants are not cleaned up after an extended period of time. Using a sealer on this tile after installation could help further prevent staining. While it is not necessary to seal this tile, it will help prolong the life of your installation.
