Answer This Question

A:  Anthony, great question. Yes, you will need a Push to Open Gate Bracket. (FM148) this is sold at Home Depot.com. Also, there is a DIP switch in the control box which will indicate which direction. Hope this helps.

A:  AJM, thanks for your question. First, you will need to make the gate opener Wi-Fi and App capable. Once you have purchased and installed the MMs100 (available on Home Depot.com) you can download the App. Check out the Mighty Mule website support page for instruction videos. Look for the Mighty Mule App-IOS- invite new members. After you add permissions the new member will receive an email inviting them to join. You are in control, you add, make changes and delete members. Thank you for this great question.

Q:I have a mighty mule 352 UL 325 series) with solar that I have used for 10 years, love it, but it is giving me trouble now and the repair guy says I may need a new one as it starts to open, then stops, starts to open, then stops. I want to know if the MM572W is the correct replacement for me? And since I already have a working solar panel, can I get the MM572W without the panel? Thanks ,Alix

                Answer This Question

A:  Alix, first, thank you for being a loyal Mighty Mule customer. My suggestion depends on your gate size and weight. For gates up to 550lbs or16ft long per gate. We recommend the MM371W (one gate) or MM372W (dual gates). For gates up to 850lbs or 18ft per gate. We recommend MM572W (one gate) or MM572W (dual gates). Sounds like you have a dual gates and yes your current solar panel will work and yes we sell just the gate opener without accessories. The nice thing about your upgrade is that we are now 40% faster and many more accessories can be added to customize your gate just the way you want it. Hope this helps and thank you again we appreciate your business

A:  Tom, great question. Our gate openers are designed for ease of entering and exiting your gated area. You would have to give them access to the other side of the gate. Hope this helps. Thanks

A:  Dana, yes you can. Perfect for all dual gate types including ornamental, chain link, tube, panel, vinyl and wood. Ceder would fall under wood so this Mighty Mule Gate Opener should work with your gates. Thank you for the great question.
